Sisters Leona and Hasna Erziak are changing the way you treat your handbag. What was formerly a place to throw your lipstick, spare
change and credit cards is transformed by the Lena Erziak sisters. The Erziak girls will make you re-think your approach to your handbag. Rather than a a place to stash your things, these bags should be treated more like a boyfriend-something you keep close, secure, and don’t share- an idea and motto Leona and Hasna have had since the beginning of the brand.
This year's fall styles may sound familiar to you, with bags going by the names Colin, Brad, Denzel, George, and Morgan, to name a few. The girls named their bags with internationally known actors who they felt matched the personality of the bag.
After the designs were finalized, the girls went through the collection attaching names that best resembled the personality of the bag. Colin-after Colin Farrell-is a party bag that you would take to all of your late night outings. For a more sophisticated business appeal, you might take Al (Pacino) with you.
The Erziak girls kept their clients in mind when creating the line, and quality was not taken lightly. They have selected all of the finest Italian leathers, and created their bags with extensive attention detail and with refined hand craftsmanship. With the state of the economy, the girls wanted to make sure that they were only producing hand bags for their clients that would be a long-lasting investment.
This fall's line features richer colors with a more funky twist than the girls had previously used, but doesn't compromise the quality or style of the bag.
The Erziak girls are backed by their business experience in investment and real estate in New York and world wide, which provides a strong infrastructure to the company’s designs. The Lena Erziak Handbag line started a year and a half ago, and the Spring 2010 collection can be seen on the website.
The girls most recently participated in an art benefit in the Hamptons, promoting arts for children and in the inner cities. Look for the Lena Erziak booth at New York Fashion Week’s first ever exclusive accessories area.
